Nasty Gal 50% Off Sale

I haven’t shopped at Nasty Gal in a while - I always loved shopping there when Nasty Gal was really popular back when I was in college but after the company was sold I think the style started to go in a direction that wasn’t very me. BUT they have the cutest loungewear and at half off I decided I’d give it a try because I’m pretty sure I can’t take all my work video calls in the same sweater I sleep in for the foreseeable future.

Nordstrom 25% Off Sale

Of course Nordstrom is having a 25% off sale right now too. I picked out some cute Spring pieces (love a good floral dress, always), some closet staples (like the Levi’s wedgie fit denim), some cozy pieces to lounge around and WFH in, and the best pieces to also WOFH in (work out from home).

Bloomingdale's 25% Off Sale

I picked a few items from Bloomingdale’s that would be cute to wear for Spring once we’re no longer quarantined. Or to just wear around your living room for the time being. Plus some cute and comfy loungewear that you’ll actually get use out of now

Anthro 25% Off Site Wide Sale

It seems like since we are all going to be quarantined at home for the time being, every retailer is doing a 25% off sale and some of them are on items that usually are never marked down! Anthro is offering 25% off their entire site through this weekend — since i’m going to be spending a lot more time inside my shoebox of an apartment in San Francisco I picked out some items that I thought would spruce up any space and make my home more happy!

SHOPBOP SPRING SALE

If there is one thing I have learned as I’ve gotten older is that I’d rather invest money in quality pieces I’ll have and wear over time, rather than have a bunch of trendy pieces that I’ll get over easily and probably won’t last me longer than a few months from ‘fast-fashion’ stores.

Shopbop is one of the places I love shopping to get these pieces. For example, I bought a dress from there in 2016 and recently wore it to an event and was so satisfied I was able to re-wear an item I have had for a few years now.

Shopbop is having a Spring Sale event, with up to 25% off depending on how much you spend with code: SPRING so I’ve listed out some favorite things I own along with some stuff on my wishlist below! I’ve categorized it too so it’s not super overwhelming to go through:

SWEATY BETTY x Rumble

I’m a huge fan of all things fitness, and I love trying out new workout classes so I was super excited to be able to try out Rumble with Sweaty Betty this past month.

Rumble reminds me of Orangetheory or Barry’s - a HIIT class but instead of running on the treadmill in intervals with the weight floor, you do kickboxing for the cardio! I’m not a huge fan of running so I personally really enjoyed this different aspect to the class — plus it’s an amazing way to get out any pent up stress or tension!

While it was a great workout and certainly kicked my ass, I was more impressed by the Sweaty Betty bum sculpting leggings that held everything together nicely AND are also squat-proof. I’m wearing them below here:

GETTING READY WITH NATORI

You know that feeling you get when you try on a super cute dress for an event or even a night out and you realize it’s totally ruined because of your undergarments sticking out? Yeah…same. I struggled with this for a bunch of Christmas parties and events this year which is why when NYE rolled around I was so happy to give Natori a try! And it actually fixed my issue.

Natori gifted me the Affair Slip in black (I’m wearing this in the photos) and the Affair Convertible bandeau in black (shown below).

I love the Affair Slip for all of my low cut, plunge neck dresses because the mesh insert allows for coverage without your dress’ neckline looking ruined with a bandeau popping out in a different color. I love how it also allows for a little bit of cleavage but you looks tasteful at the same time.

This year for the New Year’s Eve festivities, I decided to go with a silky, backless dress (shown below). I didn’t have a problem with a low-cut neckline but since the dress was backless and had really thin straps there was no way I could wear a regular bra — which is why I’m happy I went with the Affair convertible bandeau. It has the same mesh material as the Affair slip, except this time on the back — so it didn’t ruin the look of my backless dress. The material also seamlessly blended in with the material of my dress so it didn’t look obvious I was wearing a bandeau or bra or anything!

Cheers to 2020 and not having to deal with bras ruining my dresses again!

Products + Things I'm Loving Right Now

Life’s about enjoying the little things, and for me that’s some great beauty products, pretty jewelry or a candle that smells so good it will make me chill the f**k out on even my most stressful days. Check out what I'm loving RN.

things im loving.jpg

As you guys know, things I’ve linked above I make a small commission on when you use the link to purchase — which helps me to continue creating content and blog posts! But there’s some items below that I am not making any commission off of or sponsored in any way but I just genuinely love and feel the need to share:

Lux Unfiltered No. 32 Self Tanner: One of my favorite OG bloggers created this tanning lotion so of course I had to support and try it. It’s actually amazing because it doesn’t leave that gross smell Jergens self tanner does and it’s really been helping me develop a nice color

Switch: I’m obsessed with this site. It’s kind of like RTR but for jewelry - you pay a monthly fee of $30 and can rent out designer pieces, and you accumulate credit on your account for $$ off if you decide you love your piece and want to buy it. I was looking at Chanel necklaces and all of them start at $1,000+ sooo I think this is a perfect way to try out something to see if you actually want to invest and purchase it.

ANTHRO 20% OFF HOME SALE

I’m obsessed with all things anthropologie — their clothes, candles, gifts, but ESPECIALLY their home section. They have the best decor and furnishings to not only make your home feel chic but cozy as well. I have a growing collection of pretty anthro mugs, a cozy tassled throw on my bed and all of the Voluspa candles they offer and I swear it makes my tiny studio apartment in San Francisco feel so much more luxurious than it really is. It can get pricey however which is why i’m always so excited when they have a sale. Right now all their home and furniture is 20% off — no code needed and the discount applies in cart. I’ve rounded up some of my favorites and things I want below:
